Thanks guys. I think they have just about everything they need. The gas tank is trash but I think they're looking a getting a fuel cell for it. I can't wait to getting well enough to get out their. Maybe I'll actually get to wheel with some of you local guys.

I have spare fj60 and 62 tanks that are in good shape you are more than welcome to. Have fun out there man....

Thanks, I'll let you know on the gas tanks.

Looks like I'll be back in the hospital Friday or Monday. I have a tumor in my pelvis that decided to block off my rectum. Now I get a colostomy. 4-5 more days in the hospital and I get to start my recovery all over again. Oh well, I guess it's for the best. Wish me luck!

Glad to ear that you are better ( fine ) now .. I'm reading in wikipedia about your disease very rare ..

I've been told I'm 1 of only about 200 (globally) to ever be diagnosed with type of cancer. I guess I just can't be ordinary.

Hey guys, sorry for not posting in a while. I've been here, just haven't been logging in. I didn't realize this thread had new posts.

So here's the update: I wasn't doing to well up until a few weeks ago. The chemo they had me on wasn't working and my tumors more than tripled in size. Doctor told me to get my affairs in order and that he didn't expect me to last more than 6 weeks. He suggested that I strongly consider whether or not I should keep fighting. Of course I couldn't give up so he started me on what he called the B-52 of treatments. Basically 3 high dose drugs administered over 5 days. Problem was that I had to be hospitalized through the treatment so they could monitor me and swap out the drugs. I HATE HOSPITALS! I've been in and out of the hospital every month since July. Anyways, the new treatment seems to be working. The doctor did a physical exam of my tumors and says they've shrunk. I can tell too. I have a CT scan next week to confirm it. He said that since I'm doing so well with the treatments that he'll let me do the next round of treatments out-patient. I'll have to spend each day at the cancer center but I'll get to go "home" each night with a pump. I drive 75 miles to Tucson for my treatments so the doctor says I have to stay in Tucson during my treatment in case of complications. I have family and friends there so no big deal I'll stay with them to avoid the hospital. This will be my 3rd round of this treatment. Doc doesn't want me doing more than 4 (really hard on the heart). After that he wants me to try a clinical trial that has worked really well with Ewings Sarcoma patients (similar to DSRCT).

I'm feeling much better. For a while there I had a really hard time walking. I can finally walk at a normal pace again. I'm down 53 pounds. I was 133 last week. I've been up around 138 the past few days (skeletal). I'm finally able to eat again so I hope I'll get some weight back soon.

The cruiser: It's up in Tucson at my friends house where he's just about done with the cage. Hydro-assist steering, exhaust, and some odds and ends and it should be ready for the trail. Hopefully by then I'll be ready.

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. It's working. God is giving me a miracle.

Good to hear you are doing better. Keep strong. Your positive out look has and will make a world of difference. Let us know if you need any parts...

Not such good news today. I had my latest CT scan yesterday and my follow-up appointment today. There has been some growth since my last scan so they are stopping my current treatment. Next step is to fly out to California (Santa Monica) to meet with a doctor there that is doing a clinical trial (IGF1R). I have an appointment on Monday so we'll be flying or driving on Sunday. Hopefully I can start the treatment on Monday. I'll have to do this every 3 weeks. The nice thing about this is that it's not like chemo. It's a shot that only attacks a certain part of the cancer cells. That means that the rest of my "good" cells won't be effected. So hopefully my hair will start growing back and I won't need anymore blood transfusions. I've had 3 transfusions since my last treatment. I don't think I have any of my own blood left.

On a brighter note here are some updated pics of the FJ40:
