Sam, package is on the way via USPS....my brother is a postmaster and I try to keep his behind in a job. Never mind about the shipping, keeping my fingers crossed that my wife gets a job down there soon and I'll be driving my 40 down and will hook up with the CLCC. well, I got the valve cover off today. Looks like the engine currently has plastic guides for the timing chain and they look pretty intact. I don't feel any slack in the chain either. I'm guessing that there is at least 100k on this chain b/c the PO didn't mention any timing chain replacement when he had the vehicle.

Anyone know where to buy Kroil somewhere around Fairfax? My exhaust bolts are soaking in PB blaster, but i think Kroil might make my life easier.

yea, i was thinking that too.
Bart is the resident Headgasket expert and general cooling system man.

I'm just trying to not snap off anymore important bolts. In fact, most of my major fubars stem from a snapped bolt. Lube!
