John I assume your not using a original one barrel oil bath cleaner? If so that would explain why my wing nut on one of my 25s looks different. It's a square nut with a piece of steal stamped to make it a wing nut.

Not a problem. It might take me a little time but I'll find and copy. I will also see if I can find the cover that still has the FJ25 that readable on it. It could be on one of my FJ40s. Shouldn't be to hard to make a stencil.

When is it ever gonna quit raining? Not much got done today, was trying to buy a rebuilt F water pump but everyone is out of stock locally, so I dug out a tight one took it apart cleaned it and resealed it, along with cleaning up an early thermostat housing. Both are painted and on the 2F. Need to dig out a carb., starter, dist and coil. Then fit up an early oil bath 1bbl air cleaner to a 2bbl carb. Got some frame brackets from Sean, thank's, might bolt them on tomorrow. Scratching my head on affordable tires, as the wheels are probably cooling off from being powder coated. Seat frames are done being coated. John P#3

Ordered a troll hole carb for the 2F, scratched the idea of stock 1F air cleaner and modified a 70 air cleaner to fit up with the snorkel on the fender. Early vac advance dist is is all tided up and installed, along with a starter and coil, plugs and wires. Yesterday designed the brake system, like 71ish 40, dual circuit and no booster, all fittings are cleaned up, tubing is new. Today I decided not to use the brand new factory Toyota fenders I bought 7 years ago. I did not have the heart to grind and weld on very expensive new parts that could just bolt on to the next project (Tiny). I used the 1960's stock RF fender and a LF fender from originally from my 1964 FJ45, welded a bunch of holes, pulled out some creases and folds, and they will be good to go. John P#3

Becky dropped off the fenders and some other small parts she media blasted this morning, now all parts have been epoxy primed and there is even some bondo dust on the shop floor. John P#3

E Brake button
This is part of building an old Land Cruiser, E-brake button was cracked and fell off of it's plunge rod, Made a mold and encapsulated some JB weld, letting it cure real good before turning it down and polishing it. JP#3

I love the look of freshly painted parts!! Is everything powder coated or just paint?

So far everything you see has been powder coater, I did paint my leaf springs and axle housings and most all of the engine , trans and transfercase. some parts had to be painted such as tie rod ends, and especially the gas tank. I had the tank soldered up, solder melts at 380 deg F. Powder coat is 400 deg F so it has to be done by spraying paint. Still no bumper brackets to trace for you. Fun, Fun, Fun, John
Are these the bumper brackets I traced a copy for you John? I made myself a copy when I made yours I have no need for I could send to Antony. I also picked up some heavy white paper yesterday for the fuse holder. Hopefully my home can do the job. Also been researching making lenses but it appears you using the later style for the license plate light.
Your read write on the hand brake button will be a big help. Even have the same magnetic base to use. *

John, I found some other brackets and should be coated this week. I made an adapter plate to use the later license light, so when repro's are availiable it can be changed, note drain hole for upside down light.
