Interesting that the owner would switch rental choices. Makes sense since most people don't know better and I suppose don't need to when renting. If built as well as it looks, and in today's economy, $52,000 is realistic for maybe the best Land Cruiser platform built + additions. GLWS.

The rear cabin was painted with bed liner then covered in Nioca sound deadening. Silver and black used. The driver compartment was sound deadened sans bed liner.

The interior is likely overbuilt yet light weight. Internal aluminum structure was hidden from eye site with blind fasteners. View from opening right rear door storage compartment. Simple and reliable electric system has room for more goodies on the switch panel and fuse block. There is also a kitchen that was built onto the door for both interior and exterior use. It can be included but was removed by the client in favor of a fold down shelf.

What a beautiful rig and well-executed build. And I agree with the earlier post - a reasonable price too.

Whoah. Damn. This is the dream rig for me.... but alas, out of my price range at the moment. :-/ Can you tell me more about the pop-top though?--is it custom made? I was not aware a pop-top was available for the 77/76/78....

Edit: Aaaaaahhhhhhhhh... I see now. Campteq. I remember these coming out for the 80 series now a few years back or so. This top for the 77 is freaking awesome. I've literally been dreaming up and wondering and trying to find if anybody was doing them for the 77/76/78. I'm not in for this truck, but I am really, really thinking about moving on a 77 and getting one of these tops.

Good luck with the sale! Somebody will be getting a kick ass rig!

Thanks for the kind words. The owner gave me some wiggle room to negotiate on price. It’s a great truck that I would love to own too.

Make an offer. I was given some wiggle room on price

Few questions that I didn’t see in the listing:

- a/c?
- lockers?
- turbo?

whats this weigh? id be worried about anemic 1hz pushing more than 5500lbs and mpgs/ auto etc. stock 4.11 gearing? probably a good move on the owners part to switch to same day serviceable Westys and Sprinters.......imagine telling a customer on the road renting this and broken down-- yeah....just hang tight a week wherever you are as we fly this part in from canada/australia/ japan. lol

I would estimate about 350lbs if that, over stock. Seats, roof, sunroof have been removed and the interior is very lightweight
