Swung by and grabbed Powda on my way home from Texas Thursday and fixed a sticky throttle cable and a tire rubbing on the exhaust

This thing is one of the best drivers. Love the electric PS

City Racer sells a kit for Cruisers with the key on the column. Direct fit.

Look who is back…..

This thing has always had some leaks but it was Tcase…pinions….

The owner called me and said his leak was bad and it was down 2 quarts.

I was like, holy hell. What could make it leak that much?

I brought it home. Put it on the outside rack and pressure washed it to see where the leak is coming from and how much.

It’s a BIG leak. This is 24 hours

I was praying it would be the drain plug but it turns out it’s one of the spot welds in the oil pan.

I used the bottle jack trick to get it loose

Georg has a great step by step so I won’t belabor the process but I bought an OEM pan and gasket and made some dowel and I’m about to make a parts run for spray gasket stuff as I never use that stuff.

I’ll button it all up when I return

This crazy ****er drives this thing everywhere with no top. Weather this fall has been perfect for it.

He was leaving for a 4 hour one way trip and stopped at the local full service and luckily they saw the front axle was leaking

Ah s***. This is one of those Chevy front brake kits that keeps the old 10 spline stuff. I think it’s the only one I have out there.

Turns out the bolts that hold the disc bracket to the knuckle had backed out. Luckily he caught it. Nothing damaged. I checked the other side and it was good and tight.

10,000 miles since built. Rolling again.

Love this one! Glad to hear it being used properly!

Do you use the SST to remove and the axle inner seal, or is it just a homemade tool?
To do the shims? I just do those by feel. The SST is a nightmare

Local service station dude called me a month ago and said the transmission is over full and the Tcase is empty.

Damn. Used unit has finally given up the ghost.

Georg sent me a bypass hose to get him back on the road during our best 40 series driving weather.

Meanwhile @orangefj45 got me a rebuilt unit going.

I just snatched the old unit out and now I'll have to swap top covers. I forgot I had swapped a 40 on to this 60 series setup that was in there.

No biggie.

Ha!
I even asked you which cover you wanted/needed on there!

Need me to send you a gasket for the cover?
Happy to do so …..

Georg @ Valley Hybrids
I gooped it with FiGP

You are correct. I can't remember what I had for lunch
