late to the party. but this is beautiful

I wonder if LX trim delete will be the same, anyone done this to LX? or the door has more recessed behind the trim?

Thanks for putting this together! I've always liked the look of the "poverty pack" Land Cruisers (of all series) and just recently did a trim delete modification on mine! View attachment 2104843

Can confirm the doors are pretty much identical behind the trim, you just have more holes to plug!

I just read through this entire thread and am thrilled at some of the resources here. I’m picking up my first 100 next week (white w/ white trim and no roof rack from factory) and have planned since the beginning to go UN style with it - steelies, black plastic bumpers, snorkel, etc. It’s really cool to see folks who share the odd taste involved in stripping down an otherwise-luxury truck.

However, I’m a little surprised I haven’t seen a single mention in the thread of the piece that’s been keeping me up at night wondering how it can be accomplished on a US-spec 100…. Where on earth would I be able to find a full set of clear glass windows to swap out the factory-chemical tinted panels for the true UN “blue/green” tinted clear window look?

Your best bet would be an Australian wrecker. There's 1,000s of 100 series in wrecker's yards there. My 105 has almost clear glass. If it has a tint i's very hard to detect. Mine is white and I toyed with the steel wheel UN look too but I never got around to it and the bigger mud tyres on alloy rims are very useful where I live

I think the most common online Australian trading site is Gumtree, but I imagine an Australian will be along to confirm shortly

Out of curiosity for those 100s without a sunroof does the headliner have a bump to accommodate a sunroof or is it as high in the cabin as it is in the cargo area?

Take a look at the poverty pack registry for photos, but it'll ultimately depend if there is rear AC. In my case, I have no rear AC And it is flat all the way from front to back at the max height. There's no bump down.

There is a huge supply of spares for 100/105s here in aus, I'll link a few sites but I have no clue about if they or how to ship to the US, hope these help. I remember in my search for headlight housings I saw a site selling green tinted glass but I can't seem to find it again :(

Edit: maybe this was the site? They sell a bunch of green tinted or clear glass

My 105 hood lining doesn't have any bumps of depressions for a sunroof. The cargo and passenger ceiling heights are about the same. I have an A/C button on the dash but nothing on the ceiling apart from the courtesy lights. There's only one heater (and it's not very hot).

There's no courtesy lights on the doors, no subwoofer, no external temperature display, no power antenna, no heated mirrors and probably no lots of other things I don't know about. She does have carpet though (which I dislike as it's very muddy here)

For creature comforts I've got power mirrors, electric windows and self cancelling indictors... but I need to do pretty much everything else myself - which suits me fine :-)

I’d bet you can get a full set from Qatar (bin Mahmoud???). I think @Onur might know.

Is there a part to replace the door garnish that contains the tweeter from the front doors? Basically a poverty pack version (a la 80 series) of the two parts below that's just a plastic cover with no speaker. (Those speakers are awful)

Is this what you want (the black triangular plastic cap)?

If so they are probably standard on 105s and an Australian wrecker could most likely post you one to where ever you live pretty cheaply. There's a few 'Bay Areas' around the place. :-)

Yessir - anyone have a part number for PS and DS? I'll see if there's a less awkward way than a AUS wrecker first. (Bay Area in this case means California.)

I'll peel one off my truck now to see if there's a part number on it. Standby

Hopefully obvious that this is the RHS (driver's side for us)

The next photo is going to be huge sorry. It'll take a while as we're on a third world satellite internet connection

"Here you go.

Note the luxurious, quiet and crack free cloth seat fabric (at least that's what I tell myself)."

Thanks man! I'd kill for that cloth or, even better, the oak cloth from the '93-'94.

It looks like that part (67491-60030 RH, inferring 67492-60030 LH) has been superseded, and the correct parts are:

^^^^^Those parts come up as 80 series parts. The 2nd to last digit reads "6" not "3"

Try:
67491-60060
67492-60060
