I had these guys send me two new springs for my 12HT. It was the solution. I’d been runningyep, there is a fix:

That will do the job!
Definitely interestedI used a ‘dash pot’ to reduce the jerky throttle from idle in my hj61. It helped greatly as it slows the injector pumps return to idle. It still is touchy (which I quite like for some reason), but no where near as touchy as it was before....
I can take photos if anyone is interested...
My truck had really touchy throttle response since I got it. Came to realize that there was only one, old spring where there should be two. Ordered NEW ones from cruiserworld, and holy $hit it’s like driving an 80 now...so smooth. BONUS TIP: getting the second end of the spring mounted on the rod was a PITA! Until I used a small zip tie head to hook the second end of the spring, then mount the forward end, then use that zip tie to pull the spring out of the rubber hose and onto the second rod.yep, there is a fix:

yet again reviving this thread since all the old posts are old and links are broken.I know its becoming a old threat. The biggest difference for me as of now fixing the sensitive throttle is I got a new leaf springs from OME. the softest. The car is 100% better now regarding jumpy throttle, I would even consider it cured ( with the stiffer spring on the throttle body to ). So part of the problem in my case where way to stiff leaf springs giving a jumpy ride affecting the throttle through the pedal.
Wow. It's going to cost me 100 bucks to get these to me lol. I may try other random springs first but I do appreciate this as a last resort. This one works, but initially it went to a 404 page, just wait a few seconds and it jumped to the website.

Spring accelerator cable 12H-T - CruiserWorld
Spring is located at fuel pump of 12H-T motor. There are, originally, 2 of these springs to slow down the accelarator cable. 12H-T is rather agile when pressing the accelerator pedal. When these springs loose tension, the 12H-T is even more responsive, and the springs need replacing. Priced...www.cruiserworld.eu

are you sure about that shipping cost? Maybe overnight delivery was selected? There is no way that I paid even a third of what you quoted. You may want to reach out to them and verify shipping cost of two lightweight springs to the states.Wow. It's going to cost me 100 bucks to get these to me lol. It's possible I had something selected or the system was glitching. I'll have to double check.are you sure about that shipping cost? Maybe overnight delivery was selected?
