So a quick count for meeting this Sat. is 8. I hope that's correct. We had 4 at the last PDX meet up a while back. I'm looking forward to meeting some fellow 60/62 owners!
@lechnito I'll love to check out your new OME set up and listen to any installation tips you have.
@Cruisin61, did you get your drip rails fixed up yet?

@sbelinge: It's next Saturday not this one :)

I've never been to Willamette Blvd Auto Services, but I don't have a problem moving venues just so long as there is room and we have permission. Looking a Google Streetview, they already have around a dozen 60's parked outside!

I'm excited this is happening again and the crowd is expanding!

@sbelinge I have not. Materials should be arriving tomorrow. I won't have free time untill next friday unfortunately...i need to get this done. Been riding without carpets for way to long

Holy crap!! :confused:I'm so messed up. I'm finishing up graduate school this week and as you all can see, I have no idea which end is up. Next week 6/3 will be great. I should have my head properly screwed on and feet firmly on the ground by then… I hope.

Hi everyone. I can make the 3rd at 11am at Cathedral Park. Do you still have interest in dropping by Willamette Blvd auto? I think you would enjoy a tour of their world headquarters and seeing what the latest project might be. If so, let me know and I'll give Josh the heads up.

@umpqua: That's awesome! I haven't serviced my cruiser at Willamette Blvd yet but it's definitely been on my radar.

There are 9 of us so far and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the upper end of the giant parking lot at Cathedral will have enough space to let everyone park. I like our odds, but there is always a chance that we'll need to relocate. I don't suppose it would hurt to use Willamette Blvd as a back up in the unlikely event that we're pushed out of Cathedral.

My only concern with meeting at Willamette Blvd is that there's not really anywhere to park there, or around there. The lot is small, and is pretty full w/Cruisers all the time. Other than that there is on-street parking, but it's a residential area and theres not a TON of parking available. I think our odds are a lot better in the back of the Cathedral Park boat loading parking lot.

Sounds good. See everyone on Saturday. On a side note, the guys at Land Cruiser NW have a decent sized lot next to West of their new-ish location out on St. Helens Road, so that might be an option for the future.

Do Eugene, OR 60 series owner count? Wish I would had see this post sooner. Is last-minute for me, otherwise I would of loved to crash your meet. Sounds like you guys will have a good time. Cheers!

Hey everyone, I'm not going to be able to make tomorrow. I thought I was going to finish resealing my drip rail today but unfortunately that didn't happen.

After spending all day digging the old sealant out, wire wheeling and sanding i was finally able to get everything masked off. I layed down the first coat of rust converter with the assumption I could paint on it in 30min or so.....nope, needs to cure for 4-8 HOURS......so now it sits over night

As this is my second time doing this on the cruiser (first time I didn't prep it correctly and developed rust under the new sealant) , i really dont want to halfass it. I want to do it right this time and dont think ill be able to get it done in time for the meet. Sorry guys, I was really looking forward to this one

@Cruisin61 Bummer you couldn't make it out this time. It sounds like we'll be gathering again in the not to distant future so we'll see you then.

I'll hit you up for advice on the drip rail reseal. I might get to mine in a few weeks, I hope.
