if you find trails in wyoming, you'd better cough up the info...our wyoming members can't even find trails in wyoming.

any trails to wheel near ketchum for a basically stock toy pickup...at xmas time. i'm heading to that area to see bro n s-i-l's new place for the holiday. still not sure if i'm driving or flying

I know where some are, too far north for your club mates though. One place I've been meaning to check out is on a reservation. I'm not sure how the tribes there operate but I found some pretty neat stuff on their land that could make for some really nice trails.

You are looking at a 3 hour drive from Boise to Ketchum. I assume you'd be flying to Boise. PM me for more on this.

Let's see here ...

Jamboree, Roundup, Ramble, Family Reunion, FlatNasty, Cruiser Crawl, Surf-N-Turf ... plus a few club runs in my spare time. :D

I live for this s***. :grinpimp:

And that ... By Gawd ... is how a fella spells PAR-TI-CI-PA-TION.

Me too! Roundup, Bakersfield Rally, Rubithon, PMC swapmeet, Rising Sun Rally, 45 Run, Glitter Gulch Gambol, Surf N Turf.

Then there was Saline in Jan, Calico in Feb, Red Rock Canyon in March [led the run]Hammers in March [with Woody and Mace] Hammers again in April with dhondagod and Christian 4 wheelers, TORC Rally in May, Big Bear in July[adopt-a-trail program] Dusy-Ershim in September.

I think I will try flying to one or two of the East Coast events next year.

I'm hoping to drive out for Rubithon'07....friggin 2000+ miles one way tho....pretty sure I'm NOT towin the 40 out for that...lol

I had to skip a couple I should have gone to, but I made 4 this year. Not sure if I'll be able to make a long trip next year, but I'll try to get to some more of the closer ones.

hey...kowboy and mark are cheating. surf n turf wasn't a sanctioned event.

If you decide to attend, flights are easier than driving. Check prices into OAK or SMF (sacramento). Either way, I may have a seat on Mudrak's Double Locker run for ya.

I think it's great so many clubs are offering events. Be it swap meets or wheeling there alot more to do than there used to be. I remember not to long ago there were what, half a dozen TLCA events now there are almost 20? I need to attend more, that is for sure.

flights are easier, but IMO it's cheating to not have yer own rig there.... ;)

I'll be there, it's on the calendar...just not thrilled about the drive....

course, I put on 9500 miles in 2005 for wheelin....haven't added up 2006 yet, but likely pushin 7000...

Ige, I didn't even include the 5-day April road trip BACK TO COLORADO, where I ended up scrounging parts in your basement!

I try to do at least 1 TLCA sanctioned event each year. I had a great time at the Lone Star RoundUp and Rubithon this year.

Great Year....Jamboree, Roundup,GSMTR, Ramble, Family Reunion, FlatNasty, Cruiser Crawl, Surf-N-Turf.

Will see how next year pans out:idea:

howdy

Hey kids;
Jack (Medusa, who started this) has asked me to delete this thread so's he could start over later. He's made some errors he doesn't like in building the poll. Just wanted to give y'all a heads up before I proceed...

I voted but since then I have attended one other as has Ige.....wait, SNT is not a sanctioned event is it?
Butch

Lonestar is too early in the year for me, so it's gonna be either CM '07 or BHCC '07 for my out west trip this year. Then GSMTR, & prolly Cruiser Crawl. Hope to see some familiar faces out there!

Whoops edited for the NEW YEAR.......
