So after plenty of searching for a harness how to I decided to look elsewhere. Well I came across Keith Bachman who builds custom merged harnesses for LS swaps. Now we did a lot of talking and info swapping on this. Finally he is confident that he can merge the FZJ80 harness to an LS harness and make it all plug and play with all gauges working using proper adapters and resistors including working OBD2. Well, what do you gents think?

I have a few questions?
Best place to buy new our nearly new (well used) FZJ80 engine harnesses?

How much for the harnesses that are burnt up? Wires can be repaired and replaced?

After we finish the FZJ80 OBD2 I plan on doing the OBD 1 1FZFE and then the 3FE. Any interest in that?

I'm also working on a set of engine mounts that will be either drop or simple weld in. For a simple setup. I'll share all that I find and make it easier for people who don't have the know how out where to start.

Secondly found an engine supplier that sells 4.8/5.3 for 500. I now have two motors. All I need to do is sell my 1FZFE and trans. Any takers?

I'm definitely interested for 93-94 plug and play harness

Definitely interested!!! Hope this doesnt lose interest like the cummins diesel swap thread. I have been wanting to do a swap, but only two things keep me from doing it, one is the wiring and second is the motor mounts. Keep it up, I am pretty sure you will have a lot of interest.

that sounds like a great idea when you consider the chevy swap gives you more power and a conversion is equivalent or less dollar wise than a rebuild on the stock six and a lot of 80s are getting more and more tired as the days go by. plug and play would be great...everyoneh8selectrical
