Picked up this '77 from a salvage yard. It had been sitting there marked "sold" for several months, but the buyer (if there was one) backed out of the deal, or never came back after leaving a deposit, or something. It was pretty clean when it first arrived, but the roof was REALLY rusty and (wait what roof?) after a few months of forklift abuse at the yard, it was looking pretty sad, so I bought it just to strip for parts. If it had been a little older I would have kept it all together, but it was wearing a Holley & Header, and missing all the smog stuff I would have needed to get it street legal again. (and it would have had a salvaged title)

Too many points against it.

It will live on in my '73 Piggy...

And when I get some time, I have a bunch of stuff to list in the 55 classified section.

And now for your entertainment...

Everything below the windows was in unusually good shape except the front body mounts. It hurt me almost as much as the poor truck when the torches and grinders came out...
I had considered either building it (buggy style), selling it, or borrowing the top half of my '73 for it, more than once, but it just wasn't meant to be.

I want to keep all my swine, but I guess some little piggies are just born to be bacon.

As far as parts go, most of the drivetrain is gone or spoken for, but I won't be prepared to deal with any of the rest of it until January is underway. I'll list anything I can (properly in the classifieds) when I get to it, so if someone is hurting for something, nag me with some PMs after the new year, and I'll go through my stash and see what's what...

What a shame.
