Only good battery is the yellowtop top. Old battery is at the interstate store seeing if they can somehow charge.
Trickle charge is hitting it at 1.3ish after some 10 and 20 hits on it. This charger set regulates so it adjust based in battery feedback

Fuses are scattered on this thing so I'm going on a hunt. Good advice by Rob as a yota alternator fail is rare?
 
It may be the same one that I saw six months ago. It had a very very crappy paint job. Wonder what other corners were cut? That is, if it is the same truck. ..

I need this like a hole in the head, but there are talks going on.

1974, still has the F but with a 4 spd. Rockers are cut out and need replacing, along with some dents, but supposedly it runs and drives good and has good metal other than the rockers. Worst part is someone bedlined it, so that would be something to deal with.

This Pig has jacked with me for weeks now.
Battery wasn't charging with engine running. I have now replaced a good battery with a new one, a bad battery charger with a new one, a good alternator with a new one.


Traced all fuses and none are blown.

Any ideas?

Post on alternator is sending millivolts to the battery during idle...
 
Load it on a trailer and bring it to 49Cruisers when you come to pick up the 2F
 
I think I might be on to my problem on the alternator issue.

Took a break from it and put in a new LED. These pig bulb changes are finicky. Don't plan to just pull over and change a bulb on the side of the road. Easy swap now with the LED half turn. (Still need to swap out driver)

Just for background on Braswells post

I bought 2F, don't need it.

Offer it to Braswell for what I paid which was nothing. $500

He demands an inspection so I load it take it to Rob.

In the mean time I buy a project that needs a motor most likely.

Rob inspects. Motor is perfect.

I decide to keep.

Braswell insults me. M
