I'm looking for a needle in a haystack - OEM fender flares for my 80. I'd really like to find blue ones in good shape but if I can't find those I'll paint some others to match. Keep an eye out please.

Please don't put the flares back on it!!!

But...if you must, there are a few 80s in a junkyard in Byram near the racetrack. Been a few weeks, hopefully they haven't crushed them yet.

Cant ever remember the name of the place. Go 55 to Byram, then left towards racetrack. Turn left at (before) the railroad tracks. Go down probably a half a mile and it will be on the left.

Geologic may have some, but they may be new(er). If not, maybe the Byram yard mentioned above, and I think Lash may have even found one at pull-a-part (long ago, so it may be gone now). Complete trucks on College Hill near Clinton usually has an 80 or two on their yard. Be advised that the flares on the 95-97 models are different than the 91-94 and before flares (slightly different shape - won't interchange).

I respectfully disagree with @GOVT MULE : to me, an 80 looks much better WITH flares!

Complete trucks crushed the two they had (green and white)

Lamar Auto Salvage has 2, one locked and one not locked. G&S has 5 none of which are locked. OK Auto Parts has a one.

Fine swine. Too many real estate irons warming up right now for me to take that plunge. As I told PMc earlier, it'd need to be about 1/2 that amout right now to get my attention.

Thanks for keeping me in mind (and DANG, it's got A/C too!)

Nolen, publish away!
