Man, sounds like a killer time. I do an out west trip every year. This year I'm headed to the Baja 1000 race again! 55 is not ready, so hope to make a PP ride eventually. Pig forum rules all others! Hospitality like no other!

Don't think so...the Pine Gulch wildfire, now at nearly 90,000 acres, is less than 20 miles north of us. Plus, 90 miles east, I-70 is still shut down because of another fire burning in Glenwood Canyon. Too dry everywhere for "scorched earth" landscaping.

Man, I didn't know about that one. We've decided to out 80 anyway and I guess there's no open fires permitted out there.

Governor has ordered no open fires anywhere in Colorado. Given conditions, makes sense.

We have got Cameron Peak fire over here making the air all pleasant.

Its only 850.1 miles to first rendezvous. 5 gas stops.
