we all appreciate your hospitality, weeds, grass? what a beautiful native landscape you have!
With smoked pork, a campfire, whiskey, Pigs plus old and new friends I doubt anyone will take time to critique your landscaping skills.

Man, sounds like a killer time. I do an out west trip every year. This year I'm headed to the Baja 1000 race again! 55 is not ready, so hope to make a PP ride eventually. Pig forum rules all others! Hospitality like no other!
Enjoy
Mike

I am thinking after the whiskey, the campfire could be expanded to burn the land, sort of a "nature's lawnmower" if you will.

Problem solved...

Don't think so...the Pine Gulch wildfire, now at nearly 90,000 acres, is less than 20 miles north of us. Plus, 90 miles east, I-70 is still shut down because of another fire burning in Glenwood Canyon. Too dry everywhere for "scorched earth" landscaping.

Governor has ordered no open fires anywhere in Colorado. Given conditions, makes sense.

We have got Cameron Peak fire over here making the air all pleasant.
My above comment was just an attempt at humor...

I am bummed that I can't make it to this!
That is my old stopping grounds! I grew up in Challis and my parents still live there.
The pig is just not ready for something like this...

Have fun!

Are individual permits needed for camp stoves. They are in CA

I am planning on making the jump. Sh%t howdy!!! Leaving 25th. Changed all the fluids. Sorting gear. Still studying essentials vs. lighting load.
Its only 850.1 miles to first rendezvous. 5 gas stops.

Looking forward to cooler weather cooler drinks and cooler people
