Selling this Japanese import FJ80, VX Limited *has suede seats, center console cooler/ice maker, factory bumper winch, Front/Rear discs, swing-away external spare carrier* all options that wouldn't have come on a US version. Factory electronic center diff lock. Very nice condition for it's age and had a 3.5 auction grade in Japan when I purchased it last summer. I've replaced the alternator (Toyota re-built unit was the best available option) and battery, engine air filter, rear hatch shocks, wipers, re-sealed the rear quarter trim and window slider catch that were leaking slightly, had two spare keys made, and had the tires road force balanced which almost completely eliminated a slight wobble at the steering wheel. Comprehensive inspection from suspension-specialist shop at the same time didn't recommend replacing anything. Good service records with the truck, though they're in Japanese, but provides evidence of care taken over the years to maintain this example.
I have an old man emu stock height suspension kit that I am planning on installing when the weather is better but can include in the sale if you want it. No sag or other serious issues currently but current items look original and are a bit soft. Also due to replace the non-working radio head unit with a sony touchscreen unit soon. Has a very small valve cover leak--a couple drops reach the ground now and then, so it's not urgent and I have the gasket kit, just waiting for better weather and I don't drive it in snow/salt so it won't get many miles before the nicer weather. Engine is running great and really needs nothing right now. Windows other than the driver's are slow/don't close fully in the cold which is a common issue with these and can be re-built/serviced. Cruise control indicator lights up on dash when turned on but does not work currently and I have not looked into that. Not sure how useful it would be with the 3FE motor on our highways anyhow lol. Quarter-size rust hole at passenger side rocker panel and also on driver side bottom edge of rear door but otherwise no rust on the body, and none really on the frame. Knuckles look good with no leaks. A LOT of miles left to drive and enjoy this truck before any major work would need to be done. Headlight washer jets have been bypassed since the little plastic elbow valve in the hose failed and caused wiper fluid to leak out. Replacement is available from Wits end, but I haven't ordered that yet.
Selling due to upcoming move and need to reduce the toy inventory.
Looking for $17000
