Hello all,

Currently, I have an 89 FJ62, which has been in my garage for the past six + years. It's time for it to find a new home. I think I might want a very specific 80 series.

Here's a bit of history: I purchased this vehicle over six years ago in Texas, although its origins trace back to a California Chinese food place from what I can tell.

All maintenance and improvements on this Land Cruiser have been carried out by the guys at Overland Cruisers, who have meticulously cared for it. They even had it in their possession for over three months at one point.

Here's a summary of the enhancements and upgrades I've made:

Installed five new steel wheels and tires, with less than 1000 miles on them (spare tire has never touched the ground).
Upgraded the stereo system and speakers, including the head unit.
Installed a new Old Man Emu (OME) suspension with a standard 2-inch lift, correcting the Land Cruiser's lean with new leaf springs.
Rebuilt the Birfs
Fitted new brakes all around,
Replaced / repacked the hubs
New brake booster and TPS.
Improved the transmission cooler for better performance.
Replaced the grill and headlight buckets.
Had alllll the fluids changed / new belts
New speedo cable.
Added Tint
Replaced the damn pin behind the steering wheel but it still kinda grinds.
Upgraded to 4Runner wipers.
Repaired the back wiper and sprayer, as well as the front sprayers.
Installed a new battery.
Rear bumper reworked for proper swinging function.
Upgraded the lights and molding in the back tailgate.

I'm sure there are other things I did that I have forgotten.

Furthermore, the previous owner undertook significant engine and transmission rebuilds, with a pretty good set of records.

However, there are a few remaining tasks:

The driver's seat requires adjustment, as it is at a peculiar angle.
The shifter needs tightening.
The trans temperature light is currently on all the time, despite previous reworking.

While there are a few dings and dents, the overall body remains in excellent condition, with minor rust spots on the hatch and door. I once contemplated a fresh paint job, but I decided against it as I didn't want to hinder its readyness for the road.

I posted it for 25K on Facebook buuuut I might come down a little for a cruiser head.
