Loved every car, they all had something to offer and I learned a ton. Not in the order purchased (I couldn't accurately remember which came first) but listed by manufacture date. Funny to see a trend from pre-college income to post-college income - some of those older cars were definitely beaters.

It was the Geo Metro of the 80s. It was unloved because it was soooooo underpowered (and because 90% of them were painted poo-brown):

http://jalopnik.com/you-wont-guess-how-much-horsepower-a-1976-chevrolet-che-1760564165

I had a buddy who drove one, and it was hilarious how my 1980 Celica with 230k miles on the ~90hp engine (and a clutch which slipped so bad you could shift to 3rd and keep the tach at 4k rpms while driving 5mph) would completely smoke him.

Obviously, I'm pretty Toyota loyal.

Did not know you owned a KK. I just bought a house in Ft Collins... going to rent it out for a few years before I find a way to move out there permanently. Really wanting to see a KK in the flesh sometime. It's on my radar once we get out there.

there are at least fourof us Kimberley Owners on here. BTUMAN I believe has a Kamper. Slee has one. I use to have a Kamper and now have a Karavan. Cruiserdan doesn't have a 200, but he has a Kamper.

Tight good driving cars, expensive to fix. The Lexus of VW.

Run from the G-class, I had two and they will leave you stranded monthly.

I nave to add a little more to the g-class comment. I was so disgusted with Mercedes after the second one I bought a new ford sport track explorer tjat I was ashamed of owning that is why I did not mention it. I needed a car that would actually start every day so I could go to work. I was towed so many times AAA started charging me for service calls.

This is my 460 body one, junk!

And the 462 gas burner in its natural state.

So much bad emotions with those trucks, almost cost me my wife in a divorce.

Sorry for the rant.

That would certainly turn me off as well. When was the last time you owned a Merc.? I know for a fact if any of my Mercs broke down one or 100x's under warranty they would would never charge me to pick it up. Even out of warranty so long as I bought it after Jan 2014 and purchased from a Merc dealer their is no charge for road side service/towing. I would only buy one slightly used "under 10k miles" and buy the additional warranty that gives you unlimited mile warranty and gives you between 5-7yr warranty. I'd opt for the 7yr but I would only keep it full term of warranty if I was having issues...no issues maybe 8-10max

But you got me thinking
