Well you better suck it up cupcake cause like it or not even my 100 will one day be considered old school. Of course there won't be any fuel left on the planet so it will be a moot point. LOL.

Nope, not as long as I am alive, at least in my mind anyway. Once your 100 is 25 years old and eligible for vintage plates, I will still be rocking my 1981 BJ42 (even if I have to grow my own peanut oil to make it run), while your 100 will be long gone and you will most likely have some other modern machine and telling me I am stupid and such, but I won't care. Any 100 still on the road in 10 - 20 years (or 80 series) I will consider an old truck, but it will never be old school in my books. You can cry and yell at me, calling me a hill billy all you want, to try and change my mind, but being stubborn and loyal about a cause to the end is one of the main traits of old school.:hillbilly:

Thank God you've chimed in Deny, not easy keeping these heathens at bay. Next they'll be expounding the virtues of automatic transmissions

Just found this thread. ...

New school = yawn. Which can be good when that's what you're after (fast, pavement pounding up the QE2)).

For me, it's always been and always will be about the 40 series and 55s. And the types of people who drive them. Followed closely by 60s and the 70s. I draw the line at 77....

Shrug.

I under stand that most old school guys are large burly cavemen types that you can usually smell before you see because of the over whelming smell of BO and diesel fuel wafting into the room ahead of them.

Sums me up. :)

I'll post it in the Swamp Donkey thread about Old School so that I don't upset anyone here as they may be getting a little tired of hearing it (or so I've heard), although I know you don't ;)
