What do you win?
I see leaf springs on that wagon, it is indeed all relative
if you have never owned and daily driven a 40 you are not a landcruiser enthusiast;p
You guys keep hiding these debates in threads about 80 series stuff that I barely ever open up to look at
Didn't know it was a competitionWhat do you win?
I can't ever see an 80 being considered old school, I actually have a hard time considering a 60 old school. I think once it stops feeling like a tractor or horse drawn cariage to drive then it is considered new school no?![]()
We do it because we know you will not check and we can get our jabs in first.New school is ninja like that way.

Next they'll be expounding the virtues of automatic transmissions
if you have never owned and daily driven a 40 you are not a landcruiser enthusiast;p

but it has to have knuckle buster steering, eh? I am sure a true Old School guy would see a power steering mod as worse than cup holders.![]()
Plastic bumbers however are a little too
for old school
(the chrome cancels out the plastic end caps on the 60 series
... I guess that eliminates many of the 60 series.
70 series fits info old school right
.I understand the new school guys are frail little fellows that have bad backs and need coil suspensions to help absorb the shock from breaking their weak bones, and are super computer savey ninjas with deadly brass knuckles that also protect the wrist from carpel tunnel syndrome, but you missed my question about the competition, how do you win and whats the prize?![]()

70 series fits info old school right
I apparently downgraded for leaf springs, a 5 speed and a lack of Cush.
Among other perks

I under stand that most old school guys are large burly cavemen types that you can usually smell before you see because of the over whelming smell of BO and diesel fuel wafting into the room ahead of them. There size and strength make up for there under whelming web wheeling skillz. Unfortunantly when given a tool the mental fortitude is not there to correctly use it so duct take and chicken wire are still there main tools to get most jobs done.......as well as the occasional beer can.
