you laugh, but my brother types like that and he got through university as a chemist, then worked with me for five years as an environmental consultant, becoming a professional chemist and a well respected contaminated site's guy, and now works strickly as a paper pusher at Shell.

why barf? cus its old? rusty? smells? and you need to use a bit of smarts and creativity to make it right again? i would rather rock a rusty 40 with drum brakes and manual steering than a 100 or 120 series any day of the week. might aswell own a car.
80's are fine and everything, but an 80 series considered old school? Don't see I'll ever get there
The 60 series was already too much of a compromise away from from the old school roots of a LC.
I mean come on, things like carpets, windows that don't fog up, not having to use some muscle to drive the thing, not sharing the interior space with your gas tank, being able to have a conversation on the road without raising your voice, plush car like ride, an interior not intended to be cleaned out with a garden hose, this 'new school' thing seems a bit boring.

hay my 40 has air conditioning, (take the top off) power steering (go to the gym and do some curls.) cruise control (pull the throttle lock on to the speed your at)
and all i here about the 80s is they never run right, there always in the shop having work done to the engine.
my 40 is turn key start go wheelin and if your lucky you might get the chance to use the hand crank.

This is stupid. New School - Old School who gives a s*** as long as you wheel it!. I think our energy would be better spent harassing those driving Land Cruisers exclusively on pavement.

Well you better suck it up cupcake cause like it or not even my 100 will one day be considered old school. Of course there won't be any fuel left on the planet so it will be a moot point. LOL.
Oil burners will always have something to fuel their engines - especially the ones that are "old school" dirty diesels.
