Gone! Lol reminds me when my LX450 poped up on CL for $2500, was there looking at it 25min after it was posted lol. His phone was ringing off the hook as i was looking at it. Got it for $2k :)

What I should of done was buy it and hold it for someone else - eh but I am not a commie , hopefully it was one of you vultures .

Hey toynut thanks for the heads up I phoned the guy right away and whipped over to look at it .I offered him 1500 and was on my way to pay him ( the truck was at a mechanic shop) another guycame by just as I was leaving I told him that I just bought it for 1500 the guy leaves and phones the guy and said he would give him 1800 and was on his way . To funny he must have been racing to beat me to the guys house .the owner then calls me and says this other guy offered him 1800 so I said I would give full price .the owner calls me back and says the guy is going to pay 1900 and he was going to pay the diagnostic mechanic bill and the tow bill he owed the shop. Oh, well at least he got what he was asking for and the new owner had to pay full pop ,could not believe the guy sindu would have played that way but whatever, definitely not something I would do

Played what way? Until the owner has cash in hand it's anyone's buy. Next time bring cash...

Had cash, truck in Richmond owner in poco, yea no biggy to me .I will say it was a very clean truck though.no lockers only thing wrong was a broken crank. Guess I could have raced the guy over there ,posting more to say hats off for the heads up.the truck was not even for myself,it was for another cruiser member,

Keep an eye out for them on the Seattle CL. They do come up regularly around the $1500-$3000 price range. A few years ago one that was being prepped for a diesel swap went for about $1500. It included the 3FE that had already been removed.

Here is one fairly close by with a small amount of front end damage. Easier to fix than a broken crank ...

Cant do that, coils make it nice and smooth. Should try it some day........:flipoff2:

It's a Land Cruiser, you should constantly be reminded of that whilst driving it, especially over washboard.
I need Deny to post the "Old School Handbook", I believe coil springs are an automatic fail.
I do drive coil springs every day.... in my Honda! :p

It is and every time I drive it and over wash boards I am reminded why I like driving it off road. Smooth, supple, controlled and I do not spill my Cappuccino. :flipoff2:
