copy that. I bought and researched the gears 4 years ago and didnt install them until recently I apologize for my ignorance. I was remembering about the gains on the highway (lower rpms) and thinking it was just effecting 4th gear and forgetting that my ratios changed across the board. 👍.
Did you install under driver or over drive gears in the high tangle of the transfer case? Over drive would lower your rpm’s and under drive gears would increase rpm’s under all speeds, gears, and conditions.

How does your tachometer indications compare to before gear install. Over drive gears could explain why you got worse mpg in town and better on the highway. Plus you said your transfer case is quieter ,if anything, but I can hear more gear noise from mine with the under drive gears.

I believe my RPMs are lower on the highway. weird
 
My RPMS are 2100 at 60 and 2500 @ 70 (actual) mph
