Park issue with pulling front drive shaft

because you confirmed that the center diff was locked but no lights in the dash this is likely the sensing switch on the t-case and not a bulb.

I figured being 17 years old, 184k on it that i would check the bulb first being i could feel it was locking. Ehh, either way.. It works now and im super happy. I was forced to do 3 mods i was putting off.

Now i just need to put some shocks on and im ready to go kill some rocks. Just waitin on ebag33 to pm me. lol. He is like a landcruiser encylopedia. Kinda like you landtank. And Cristo, and well, everybody else.

Well, the truck is lifted about 4 inches or so, and the castor is better then factory which puts quite a bit of stress on the driveline from what i have read. Noise didnt happen until i lifted it. I remove the driveshaft, noise is gone. Hence me thinking i need a new driveline. Not the SAME one but new, i mean the taco shaft.

Whats an even better question is say for example the ebrake wasnt set, and it rolled out into traffic. Now just say it rolled through a green light as someone was running a red light. Guess who gets that ticket????

NO problem. I just figured alot of people try to diagnose driveline vibrations and if i could save anyone the trouble that i went through it would be worth it.

the Park pawl is not inspiring much confidence in me... tiny piece of metal that holds the entire weight of the car?

Actually the pawl is a pretty big piece of metal; it has to be mainly for people who park on downhill slopes and forget to engage the parking brake.

Or for people who have ripped out the parking brake system.
