Well....I was going to buy one of the "birdfeeder" clones that @Nemesis1207 posted the ebay link to but.....they won't ship to the US.

Don't feel bad - they won't even ship to Canada . Who the hell doesn't like Canada?!?

Yeah, weird. That one ships to the US no problem. The other one won't even though they're from the same location.

Same location but first one was $38 USD and this one's $78 USD unless you were billed different. Weird.

Any experiences with this one? That looks identical to the one I have and I'm happy with it

I've got one just like that on mine. Fit was great and template wasn't to bad. From the pictures it's the same manufacturer but I purchased mine about 10 years ago. Only installed it last year though. Still looks like new and is parked in the weather all year. I'm happy with it.

Generic Chinease knockoff of the Safari. I have installed about a dozen since they appeared. Running on on one of my '80s currently. Nothing to complain or praise about. It's a piece of plastic that is functionally identical to the Safari at a fraction of the price. I expect I will be using them, as long as I am putting snorkels on '80s.

I saw a similar drop in intake temps with the snorkel.

This is the whole reason I have one. I saw an even bigger difference than 15° in intake temps. Something to consider if you’re running positive pressure.

Yeah the IAT on mine sits about 10 degrees above ambient temps on the highway with the ram head on, higher in traffic. I've just switched to the mushroom/cyclone style head yesterday so I'll see what they are now.
