Teslin Lake, Yukon Territory.

We missed you by a day or two in Whitehorse. We were heading south as you were heading north. Did you go top of the world or stay down and thru Haines junction?

Sorry we missed each other! Went up via Haines Jct and back via TOTW. Here's a pic from Dawson City, at the conclusion of the road. Pretty epic trip!

Sure. Let's see and read the boring details.
Well.....okay. Before departing SC for CO, we installed our door panels.....which we covered with cow hide....fur and all. Nearly everyone who sees them thinks they are the best addition to the interior. From Salida, CO we drove up to Bozeman to see the crew at Overland Cruisers. Then onto Banff, Jasper and then Prince George, BC. Drinking Carlsberg (extra strength) while packing is pivotal to either forgetting something important or overpacking.

In Prince George, we headed due west to take the Cassiar Highway north. Plenty of great towns to stop into along the way. Eventually detoured to Stewart, BC/Hyder, AK. The Salmon Glacier was obscured by low clouds and rain, but Stewart was great. Lots of history (and bears) and great Mexican food.

The Cassiar is a nice drive, but the roadside businesses have suffered greatly since I hitch hiked through in 1990. Many of the places that I fondly remembered are now shuttered and the pioneer spirit of yesteryear seems to have been replaced by convenience stores ("gas bars" in Canadian speak). Met a nice couple from Germany in their custom built overland rig....we were a bit jealous of them when it started to rain. Stopped at Carcross and Skagway and finally arrived in Whitehorse.

In Whitehorse, DawnMarie and Krow continued onto Alaska while I met up with a couple buddies and canoed the 450 miles from WH to Dawson City. The float was nice and the 30 mile transit of Lake Labarge was a good challenge, especially the last 7 miles in whitecaps and 30 mph winds.

We completed the float a couple of days early, leaving us with a full 7 days in Dawson City. It's not recommended to linger that long in the ol' "Paris of the North" if one appreciates one's liver and the vital functions that it provides.

DawnMarie and Krow met up with us in DC and their adventures in Alaska (especially the Top of the World Highway) surpassed their expectations. The Sand Pig performed perfectly during their tour.

We returned to Whitehorse and experienced some engine issues. Fortunately, fellow MUD member and pig owner Kerry Newkirk and his family rolled out the red carpet and immense hospitality until we were able to sort of the situation. We are profoundly thankful for the Newkirk's and for this forum for connecting wonderful people to us throughout our journey.

Next up......heading south.....all the way to the bottom.

I'm envious of your 55 and your route. You've hit all the places I would go when traveling in that direction.
I recently heard of a neat attraction near Prince George, if/when I ever get back there. Ancient Forest/Chun T'oh Whudujut Park | BC Parks - https://bcparks.ca/ancient-forest-chun-toh-whudujut-park/
