This is the new Mosko Jacket.... seems very high quality, perhaps competition for Klim.

-I did go by the Klim tent and pepper them with questions. Immaculate gear. As I was trying stuff on I thought- Man... I wonder if they make versions that hold body armor...
When I asked the rep, he fell silent with a few umm's and uh's....

Nice pics dude, thanks for sharing.

Great info - thanks!

The blind dog story had me rolling. But, how does someone lose their blind dog?!? Glad to hear that the story had a happy ending...

I think that is the weirdest part of the story... the doggy mommy said "Hootch" figured out how to open the zipper.......
🙄🤔

Almost forgot about Beer and Food!

⭐The Lumberyard⭐ is still the best place for food, beer, service and atmosphere..... Vietnamese burger!!!!- still the best burger I have ever had. Stace liked the fish and chips. Beer, wine and booze.
"VIETNAMESE BURGER-Our burger topped with Char siu pork, pepper jack cheese, pickled daikon and carrots, julienned jalapeños, cucumbers, cilantro, sriracha aioli and served on a Bolillo roll."

Mother Road Brewing- Brewer for Overland event... Very good beer, we did not visit the brewry proper. -Towerstation IPA + Daily Driver IPA

However right across the street at The Toasted Owl- Perfect place to have breakfast if you just ripped a 7.2 richter bong hit, slapped on some pachouli and jumped into your crocks (wherez Larry?... wha? A frisbee!). Very hippy, very owly, very eclectic, very cool, very good coffee, very good food and as you might imagine, very happy staff.

Beaver Street Brewery- Sister company to Lumberyard- naturally good beer and food- sortof a Chama Brewing vibe. Service was good. They have a duck pizza I wanted to try..
"THE MOULARD-A wInfused garlic oil, Maple Leaf duck bacon, smoked Gouda, mozzarella, spinach, roasted grapes, drizzle of balsamic reduction."

Flagstaff Brewing was nothing to write home about. Decent beer, edible burger, mediocre service, loud music.

Rickety Cricket Brewing- Hands down the largest selection of house brews, no food, very good beer- the service.... well the singluar churlish mandroid running the taps and had a personality that needed an iron lung, maybe some Ritalin. However- they had the COOLEST artwork for each of their beers.

Dark Skies Brewing- Nice atmosphear but don't bother! I hate trying to polietly convince people to do their jobs, especially when it takes forever- KNUNCKLEHEADS... they have food.. like after 3pm.

Why can't all foodie reports be like this. Very good. It also explains:
The first night we were there around 1:30am an animal crashed into the tent and got stuck in the vestibule. Of course I am :beer::beer::beer::beer: and …
