Another update: It rained last night, and I found more water in my passenger footwell this morning. In addition to that, the audio system has now stopped working (no volume) and the passenger seat heating module LED is glowing faintly even when it's off (the driver's doesn't). I suspect this is all due to water, probably in the passenger side door sill area where there are a few connectors. I guess it's time to pull things apart (in addition to fixing the leak).

Does anyone know where the connectors are hidden in that area? Should I mainly focus my search on what's below the sill panel?
