She whispered “I’m alive” today for the first time in twelve years... As sweet a sound to my ears as honey’s taste to an emergent spring’s bear. Her frame-off restoration is nearing completion - interior is planned, and weatherstripping is being figured. But this weekend she purred - and then roared to life.
More to come...

Nice marketing teaser ;) What's the plan for her? Always enjoy seeing LV photos, post plenty!
Thanks. I’ve had the ol’ girl since 1997 and she’s been off the road since about 2008 when I began to have her body cancer repaired. I had her restoration rebooted in earnest about 2-1/2 years ago and plan to use her to do overland trips.

Here’s one from before I took her off the road.

I’ve had a Vintage Air unit installed on her but we haven’t charged it yet (plus still cool around here) so I don’t know how effective it will be. I am told it will freeze me out, even in 100+ degree heat. I’ll believe that when I feel it.
