Saturday night camp

I plan to head up thurs afternoon/evening. Doing manifold gaskets on my 80 right now. Just finished with the broken studs and all the fun parts. Putting it back together, then I have to swap tires and put the roof rack and tent on and I’m good to go. I’ll send a message or post up on thurs when I head out.

Let me know so I can plan a departure. I am not sure where you are and what will be a convenient meet up. I will be working in the morning but packing tonight to leave as soon as I can.

Was hoping morning, got to see when Bryan is heading out ,Adam is heading out about 3 he said .

Been watching the thread but first week of school means I'm basically a single parent this week being married to a teacher LOL. Thought I'd at least snag a kid or two from school today and ride up for the rest of the weekend but was reminded by my ringmaster that I should probably be present for my own birthday party, conveniently rescheduled from July to tomorrow evening.

Heading into gorges state park

Gorges State Park is worth the effort if the part we went to is open. Very cool. And largely vacant.

Sandy Ford was primo as well, right on the big river. Another time we need to take some tubes and stay a couple days.
Excellent expo event. They are up there now, I came down today, where they are I've BTDT, but it is always well worth the effort.

Before heading into camp Friday we parked on the Parkway and hiked down to the Bald at Cullowhee. Man it brings back memories. Miss that place.

The whole trip we had perfect weather Even on the bald. Trails were great as usual Being able to go swimming the first 3 days was awesome
