she phat. i guess i should have tried to shave moar weight. i didn't do total math but i know i added 5 extra gallons of water and their respective containers. the roof box. extra fuel container. brackets to carry them. couple extra pounds in recovery parts. the add a leafs to carry moar weight 🤣
couple days in Christmas valley. little gem of a hidden spot.

Cool! I was thinking about your central-eastern Oregon solitude while camping as I was packing up camp on the chetco after midnight- we got invaded by some revelers on Friday night- I was warned, however. Looks fun!
 
almost 4k miles later, we are in Louisiana.

truck pulled down 14.4 mpg ave.
lowest being low 11s, best at 17+ (mostly downhill 🤣)

truck was basically flawless. although the iac was acting a little funny at times.(primarily when it was hot) it's likely shytting the bed. pretty common for these.
 
i have been doing a few updates to this thing.
noted a blown front bump stop and some damaged spring/shackle bushings after the trip.
so i updated the front spring and shackle bushings. frame bushings front and rear. skys shackles up front for a slight lift.
i have new bumps and landing pads but need to find a welder. :bang:
