Years ago, when my kids were in car seats, I ditched the short jump seats in my 1977 FJ-40 for a Little Passenger front-facing bench seat.

This seat is made as a 3rd row for various 2-row SUVs.

It sits between the wheel wells on my 77 and bolts to the floor, through the floor supports.

It does not fold. It does not tumble.

It DOES have THREE integrated seat belts...two shoulder belts and a middle lap belt and two headrests.

Mine is grey.

I'm attaching a couple of pictures of my 40 with the seat installed...I'll get detailed pics and measurements up in the next few days.

This seat has been great and easily buckles 2 car seats and was comfortable for all 3 kids once they were big enough to legally ride out of their car seats.

As optioned, this seat is $1000+ new:

Toyota Archives - Little Passenger Seats

I want to trade for a pair of correct jump seats in decent condition. If we can meet (I'm south of Atlanta), better for us both.

Reply here or PM me with interest.

Thanks!

Sorry to hijack but that tailgate is cooler than Chit. Whats it off of or did you make it?

I made it.

Nope.

It's a Bandeirante tailgate from Brazil. I bought it from another guy on Mud years ago. They are like hen's teeth, for sure!

Bump for the weekend...

this is a legit rear bench option...better than a rear Jeep seat, just without the fold-and-tumble option.
