The weight of most aftermarket front bumpers is the reason I did not buy one. Benc's design seems to have all bases covered.

Reasonable weight even w/winch
Modular pieces for custom look and/or replacement
Tighter fit at the body line/ no gap
High clearance on the corners and the front angle.
Ability to mount tube end pcs when they become available
DIY kit

If I don't build my own bumpers then benc's bumper is my top pic with the new BIO being a very close 2nd. The ironman, TJM, and ARB are just too bulky and flimsy for my taste. I have seen way too many crushed ARB bumpers on the trail. Never seen a crushed tube bumper on the trail.

That BIO bumper looks good... but big! Maybe it's the angle, but it looks heavier than the ARB/IronMan/TJM bumper. Any idea the weight of that one?
Bumper is 108lbs plus the 90lb Warn winch. Yes, it is extremely heavy.

TJM bumper, I like the look and the coverage. I'm happy.

I'm thinking of going TJM on mine as well... I like TJM and ARB both better than Ironman.

I also like the Opposite Lock XROX bar--but it's not available State side...I'd like a copy of it, but maybe with less light tabs

What size duratracs are you running and how much lift? Any rubbing or trimming you had to do?

Edit: Never mind. I see in your sig that they are the 315's on a OME 2.5" lift. I wonder what size would be comparable on a 18" rim? Looks like a 285/75/18, 295/70/18, and a 305/70/18 are all really close to a 315/75/16 in height and width. Looks like I need to find a tire in one of those 3 sizes. Keeping my fingers crossed Goodyear makes the duratrac in one of those sizes.

I'd like to sell my arb Sahara and buy one of benc's bumper. If anyone is looking for a good deal and is on the east coast let me know. The Sahara was the best looking bumper for the 100 until ben came along!

I am in PA and am interested.

Here are a couple pictures of the Slee "BlueBerry" front bumper on mine. Yes $$, but the build quality is outstanding. I needed to replace the oem after my son hit a deer. The check from the insurance covered about half the cost of the Slee. And I echo the weight concerns, upgrades to the suspension is in the plans.

Interesting - I don't recall seeing that gap between the Slee Blueberry and the body like you have on yours - all the other pics look like it fits snugly...

No lift, went to 265/75R16E tires, couple of turns on the torsion bar adjustment bolts to get the stance back to original.

In case you want some other design ideas, here is a couple I made. I am trying to get time to make another for a friend. Not sure if I will produce many to sell.

If I had the money I would ask Mike at Bio to customize his bumper for your needs. His products are awesome. Benc has probably the best looking bumper I have seen in a while but I can't drive to his shop to pick it up. Due to my own personality and budget limitations I made a couple and want to make a couple more.

Good luck with everyone's search.
