Just something that's been on my mind.
I can't justify the expense of upgrading to a larger airbox like a radius fab etc(yet), so I've been doing a little research on how else to open it up. Saw mentions of an FJ80/LX450 airbox lid with the larger opening and thought I'd pair it with new 3" silicone that goes all the way down to the factory ct26 which I think is around a 3" opening? Have you done it? Any good results? Sounds like it could yield a little as the factory intake pipe is so restrictive down toward the bend.
I'm keeping things stock for the most part(except for a 3" exhaust) until I decide to go bigger turbo and intercooler, and my hands are itching of something to do. Appreciate all the pointers in advance
