Dislike on Lost Province - I can write more later while not on beer....... plus places here in Boone have shut down due to covid and the students not coming back.... will follow up tomorrow. :) Definitely food wise Our Daily Bread - Basil's is ok now for food and beer. Black Cat has been closed due to Spring Break but students aren't coming back so not sure if they will open, again....

Well that kinda sucks. No matter how you feel about it, this covid-19 scare is going to hit the local economies hard...

Appalachian Mountain Brewery and Beech Mountain Brewery are two to check out also. But, when they re-open (if closed).

Just dawned on me that they don't really advertise this much. It's called "smile" from amazon. You pick a charity and when you shop on amazon just here instead of the main amazon site Amazon Smile

It's really a no brainer if you're already shopping on amazon. Costs nothing.

I've done 84 orders through it and $26.87 has gone to Wounded Warrior Fund (my charity of choice). Didn't cost me a penny - it was all just affiliate sharing money that would have gone to waste - paid for by the manufacturers of the products you buy. Some have higher contributions, some don't contribute at all. You don't have to keep track, just shop through that link and you'll get a note saying you've 'donated' $26 too....

Thanks, never knew.

yep. I mentioned it annually until last year.

I'll add quite often you have to manually go back into the smile amazon screen.... I've canceled quite a few orders to reorder on the right one.

I used to have that issue, too - started using an extension that always directs any amazon page to the smile.amazon page.....

If you have a kid in school, check to see if their school is on the list (Perhaps the timing is odd but you get the point).

Harvey Weinstein has Coronovirus, word is that the #MeToo movement is circulating a "Get Well Soon" card for everyone to sign.
