After seeing how nice Jonathan’s seats are on his 80 I went ahead and ordered some Lseat leather replacements for my lx450. I don’t know what the difference is but I went ahead and ordered the 80 series instead of the lx450 ones.
It made sense to me to order the 80 ones because for the exact same price the 80 version comes with the center console leather replacement as well as the front door arm rest leather inserts.
Not sure why they do that but if there is a difference I will be happy to report back.

I won’t know until I get them and from what I read it takes about 4 weeks.

Coddling Your Junk - - What type of band is that?

BTW, I will work that into my daily life somehow.

The 80 seats are not the same as the LX seats...80's are a bit narrower. Plus, 100's coddle your junk.
Also, if you haven’t found the little vent down low on the steering column yet, they’ll cool your junk.

As a kid, I always wondered why that vent was there. Pretty sure my dad told me "for midgets".

I hope they are not too different. Either way. I’m making those covers work. One way or another.
They send you the center console and the door arm rest with the LX, the web site is confusing.

Also where the metal bar is in the foam is different in the LX vs the 80. Might want to see if you can change it. It will be hard to pull the Seat tight if the metal bar is in the wrong place.

@SFROMAN I think JV is right here. They look identical initially but the center ribing is built differently.

I emailed them today. Hopefully they can change my order.

I also called but no answer so I had to leave a message. Hopefully they call me back and I’m able to change my order.

I was in the kitchen making lunch when this commercial came on the TV. I walked to the door to the living room, stood and watched/listened, captivated. The add guy that came up with this commercial needs a raise. Brilliant! Love that song, pure.

Would love to convert my 40 into a short bed 45. Found this photo online and I think it looks amazing.

Pretty certain thats a legit fj45 swb. Its is a BA build. Even did alaska cruiser trek a few years ago. @HENDOG has some info or can get you in contact with the owner (but make sure to shame him for selling his lol)

There are several 40 to 45 conversions on mud however and its been documented a few times if you wish to follow. Might as well go full tits and do a zornff like build and go xcab with 62 axles. Your welcome :)

I already have 2 40s that I can use to convert into cab plus and have spare 80 axles.
I have been contemplating selling my 40s and my off-road trailer to find the purchase of a real 45. But I have most of what I need to make my own.

One of these days I am going to do something "full tits." First I am going to figure out what it means and then I will do it, because it sounds like "all in" only a lot better and not some trash corporate speak thing.

Edit: I would google it, but I have taken a chastity vow after reading the Kellen Winslow story :\
