Yes it does work. When I get a chance, I post the install instructions. Relay is buried behind the knee air bag. There are lot of panel that need to be removed to get access. I will copy the relevant pages of the fsm and post them.

Do you have the original Toyota turn signal relay? Can you take a picture of it with part number? A few GX460 owners are trying to find a source for our vehicles. This might be what we are looking for.

Here you go.

I assume the install was on your 2013 LC. Per my research looks like up to 2015 should work without any problem. 16+ no go.

I installed it on 2013. It will work on rigs upto MY2015.

sorry to ask again, how tough was the install?

The installation is pretty easy if you're fine with leaving the original flasher relay in place. You just need to pull the upper part of the lower dash enough to be able to remove the left side switch panel. With the switch panel out of the way, you can then reach for the connector that plugs into the flasher relay, plug it into the new one and use double-sided tape to stick the relay into place. I decided to do it this way so that in case the new flasher relay malfunctions, I can easily switch back to the stock relay in less than 5 minutes.

Why not get the LX relay to obtain the function with an oem part?

I wondered about that too but I think it's a selectable feature via the techstream software. It's just not selectable on the cruiser. I had the dealer check it out before I bought the cheapo eBay software cable and software . I'm not sure if that's 100% true as I often don't trust the dealer but it could be as simple as a relay swap. Maybe some LX folk could chime in or we could get @beno to cross reference the relay part numbers.
