Today was spent cleaning up the wiper motor asemblies, resodlering the wiring terminals, fitted a new plug for the motor connector.
It took some time freeing up the cable as l couldn't fully strip in down but it came up sweet. Kept spraying and working the cable back and forth until the lube came out clean.
The wiper shafts were quite tight but cleaned up well once stripped, cleaned and regreased with some zinc oxide grease i had.
Made some new gaskets to seal up the assemblies as one was missing and the other old, also made a new rubber as one was a bit worn. Might try and use rubber without reinforcing in it, more like the original but its what i had.
Used some tape over the cable but will order some heat shrink ti fit as it might look a bit cleaner. Cable outer casing was all cracked up, don't think these are available anymore. These will all get painted at a later date
