Our good friend Bryan at Offroad Power Products recently sold his Jeep JK and bought a new 2013 Land Cruiser 200 series. The vehicle's main function is as a daily driver, kid hauler, but needs to be equipped for weekend offroad trips, dirt road exploring etc. He instantly handed us the keys to get started on a few mods.

Planned mods:
-Icon Vehicle Dynamics Suspension: 2.5" remote Res Coilovers & Piggyback rear shocks with compression adjusters, Billet Lower Rear Control Arms, Old Man Emu rear Coils,

-Nitro Gear & Axle 4.88 Ring & Pinions, Master install kits, Rear TJM Pro Locker, solid preload spacer

-coming later Custom Bumpers, Sliders

might be one of the best looking 200's I've seen yet... damn!!!

Nice configuration, except for the wheels. This will be a very capable rig.

lOCKER

ARB has a locker option for the front, but was not necessary for this vehicles usage.

So nice .. wonder .. no locker option for front .?

What's up with the wheels?
I think it is a great, near bombproof choice. The only thing that would make them better is if they had the air up/down option...now that would be cool.

Question for the poster...why no upper or lower control arms for the front? It can't be a lack of funds..$1500 front suspension, $800 rear suspension, $500 rear trailing arms, $2400 rims, $1200 tires, minimum 8 hrs labour, plus $70k+ for rig...what's another $3200 to do upper and lower control arms while you are in there, or at least $700 for uppers? Just a question as to why not?

just fyi, in the US they only come fully loaded for 2013 - $82k

Hence the '+' after $70k...I didn't feel like looking into the price...I figured they most definitely paid over $70K for it.

My question should have been:

If you were going to spend close to $95,000 for a truck...why not the extra $700 for UCAs, or $3200 for UCAs and LCAs? There has to be a good reason, and I am just wondering why? Quality, availability, didn't think of it? Something. Maybe I'm alone in wondering, is it not odd?

I think it's his humble opinion...nothing more nothing less.

I was asking RTaylor...not you, why don't we let them reply. I know you are trolling and it's a shame you have nothing better to do.

Keeping on topic, I was curious as to why the wheels don't suit the configuration? RTaylor, is there something you know about these that we don't?

Did you not ask on an open forum?

Just because I don't list all my vehicles in my sig line and jump up and down yelling...look at me, look at me, I have a 200 series LC I'm trolling. Don't be naive and so simple minded. I like to be unassuming...

Edit.

JustDiff...

Nice rig with all the new goodies. Carry on.
