Thanks. We are keeping our fingers crossed that someone will buy it and keep them all on. I guess the bank is going to keep it running until the auction. Since my wife only works Tues, Thurs and Sat her boss got hit with a ton of phone calls from upset bride and others who gave deposits for events.

I checked the NADA book on the bike and $2500 is average. I'm sure that any Triumph dealer would want some kind of a cut.
 
I'm looking for a stock FJ40 main hoop. Preferably not rusted to hell. Only need the horizontal and 1' vertical to be in decent shape.

Hopefully someone has this kicking around.
 
Still have a brand new Smittybilt 8000lb winch with remote here for sale. New on Amazon they are $300 so let's do best offer under $300. trying to get rid of some parts to pay for new fixes needed on the 55
 
i had seen a Red mid 70's fj40 for sale in MA this past weekend...

it was located at a garage on rt9 in a town named Hadley, MA

In would say 75 or 76? hardtop and in decent shape...repaint?...i did not get out to look ...just a fast drive past...was too late and minivan full of kids and wife :rolleyes:

just up the road (also on rt 9) was also a 71? land rover 88 also for sale...tan

I stopped and looked at it last week real quick. Couldnt get a good look since it was dark out. I called the guy saturday but he didnt answer, they called me back but I was at Gretchens and didnt have great service. Havent gotten around to calling them back, I was just interested in the price not really looking.

The place is Gauthier Automotive on Rte 9 in Hadley if anyone is interested.

I am looking for a cheap but excellent condition rear axle. So let me know if you have some variation on that. Coarse spline is fine btw. A rusted ring gear is not.

Also, I am interested in a '40 or '25 centered diff rear axle for the axles.
