83 FJ60 rolling chassis, western rig

I'm unloading my "FJ65" project, 83 FJ60 I brought back from western, CO. This is basically a rolling chassis with the body from the B pillar forward, no engine, trans or t-case. Good western doors, fenders, valance and hood some minor scratches and dents, not rotted. I'm also including the rear lift gate and a left rear door both in good condition. The radiator support has some rust at the bottom seem, I'll include a spare rad support from an 87 FJ60. The cab was from damaged rig, the right side A and B pillars were replaced as well as a the cowl side. The roof panel is rough, dented/sagging(I'll include a front roof section from an 87 FJ60) overall, the cab has some surface rust in spots, no pitting or flakey rust. The frame is in great condition, you could remove the surface oxidation with sand paper, no pitting or flakey rust. The steering gear, axles and suspension are all good. The wheels in the pics are NOT included, I have a set of white spokers I'll put on it. The interrior was disassembled and a bit rough(seat upholstery, door panels and dash pad pretty worn, most of it is there.
I've been storing this rig in Tinmouth, VT, give me a few days advance if you would like to take a look at it it. I'd also consider bringing it over to NH(Canaan) if that is more convenient for any YT or IH8Mudders.
Edit: after some persuasion I'll sell some parts separately this includes:
fenders($175 pair), doors($200 pair), rear door ($50), lift gate ($75), valance($50), hood ($50) and rad support ($40)
everything is sold AS IS, I don't want to ship any of the body parts. $1000 for everything, send a PM with any questions.

you do realize that the ones on your truck now are the kewl old school metal ones adn the ones that came ont he 78' were plastic. maybe I just like the old stuff but I think the ones you have on there right now are kewler than what came on it originally. i would send them out to get replated if they are worn.

I just discovered that the side bib emblems on my '78 FJ40 are from a late '60s / early '70s model. I'd like to trade my set of two for a set from the late '70s. Both emblems have all four posts on the back side, but as you can see from the picture below, the "Land Cruiser" script is a bit faded.

Thanks for the advice. I checked out the newer ones, and although I like the "Land Cruiser" script and the idea of having '78 emblems on a '78 Cruiser, I've decided to keep the old ones. Now that my FJ has a new paint job, I do not want to worry about filling in the old post holes.
 
1962 fj40 - SOLD

Like the title says, a 1962 FJ40 for parts or whatever, smack in the middle of Connecticut. I want to move this thing whole, that's why the $500 price tag. Plenty of stuff on here for a parts rig, F135 with original carb runs pretty good, yard drives, and stops. NOTHING else included that isn't pictured. Comes with a good correct shifter assembly to replace the busted one. Rusty hood from a FJ25. Very good doors with bug catcher windows. Light lenses in the pictures are gone. Brand new repro horizontal weatherstrip for the bifold door. Frame is shot in the back, on the way out in the middle. NJ title. This was a dealer's plow truck, so it's believed the 32k mileage is actual.

This is the very early three speed with the side shifter. If you don't know what that is, assume you cannot use the tranny and transfer for anything but a designer furniture piece. :D

I really don't want to part this out, however if you want a $500 worth of parts I'll think about it. :lol: PM me.

Anyone have a pair of shocks I can buy for the rear of my 60? Eye to eye style, don't care what brand. Hoping for somewhere around 10" of travel. Need a pair to pass inspection.
