Fs 1988 fj62

Hey guys.
I have a two tone (grey/blue) 1988 FJ62 with 151K on the clock. Engine is strong, with a minor rear seal leak.

tires are good / 30K on 31" BFG AT's on black steelies
new front rear brakes

she's stock as this was my daily driver for the last 4 yrs, I'm selling because I bought a 2001 4runner.

the bad:
usual rust on the rear gate, quarters, frame is decent due to undercoating from the factory.

front low speed accident : with dents to the stock bumper, right quarter and hood... Nothing major but need to be pulled

could be a good parts truck if someone needs a decent interior or strong engine.

thanks guys

My buddy is looking to sell his truck. He has just gotten it running real good and now he wants to sell it.

The body has an alum tub installed by Teds guys in NH, looks real good. He has a hard top for it too. This thing would make a realy nice driver, finish the body work, paint and drive it!

77' FJ40

Your buddy should throw a paint job on that otherwise I'd guess he'll get about half of what he's asking. Decent paint job would do his wallet wonders.

Ya and he'll need to throw a box of $100's in the back seat too.

Says the guy whos looking to buy a Maaco... :flipoff2:

Hey, I didn't put the price on the rig, put the pictures up, or even say he was any good at selling things, all I know is he is in a jam $$ wise and looking to get out of his truck. Make him an offer, he might take it, he might not. Are you guys new to this stuff? :grinpimp:

Just noticed on interco's factory 2nds page there's a few STREET tires for short money

XRXS-05R TRXUS A/T RADIAL 33X14.50R15 3 $125.00
XRXS-08R TRXUS A/T RADIAL 35X12.50R16 2 $125.00
:flamingo:
I don't know how much 33s usually go for, but I know most 35" street tires come in around $200 a pop. These are not the Truxus mud tires, but the Truxus STS (AT).

Thought I'd give a heads up.

I think I need more clutch throw since I switched to a HD clutch. Can anyone lend me a working 40/60 clutch master for mock up? I want to see if I can swap one in. I hear hints on the intarwebs that I can, but not convincingly enough to spend the money on one.

Wanted, late model complete hard top, doors, ambi doors
