Anyone happen to have 6 spark plug gaskets for a FZJ80 (11193-15010) they're waiting to use for a future project? I'm calling FA tomorrow to see if they have some in stock, but if not I may have taken my DD down for use until they come in.

Long shot, but does anyone have an igniter from a 1975-1977 2F?

I'd love to buy it from you, but at the least I'd like to use it for troubleshooting my 2F no-start issue. Just the igniter, or the whole setup (coil, igniter, resistor if you are selling)

Will an igniter from a FJ60 2F work with a 2F with a points ignition?

I really don't know. I've got a runing 1983 FJ60 and was gonna use it for troubleshooting, but I didn't want to mess it up too by hooking it up to a system that it wasn't meant for and I've heard that the coil/igniter were different? BUt how different, I don't know.

I'm thoroughly confused and keep hitting brick walls.

I really have no idea. All this is why I like Vortecs I am not sure of system changes, I am sure someone will chime in that has a definitive answer. Let me know if you want me to look for it, I vaguely remember seeing one in a box of parts, no clue of it's condition. It came off a running engine to my knowledge but I can not verify.

Haha. Yea, stuff like this will really make a more modern drivetrain tempting.

I believe it won't work, but don't know how it is different other than the omission of points for a magnetic pickup.

Disaster avoided. FA had 4, but Apex had 12. New valve cover on and no leaks. Great weekend, AC and valve cover fixed!

I have 2 complete spare tire hoist assemblies for an FZJ80. Might fit an FJ80 - I'm not sure. One has a rusty but usable chain hoist, the other is much better. I got the better one from @NCFJ so he gets first right of refusal in case he would to have it back again. I'm not shipping these things and I don't want anything for them.
