Added 275/65/20 KO2s today. They fit great with only the slightest rubbing on one mud flap in reverse. Paging @gaijin for recommended psi :)

The Recommended Cold Tire Inflation Pressure for the LT275/65R20/E 126/123S BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires on your LX570 is 36psi F/R.

Awesome thanks! The guys at Discount sent me on my way with 52 psi. When I turned on the truck and saw that on the TPMS readout I laughed a little :D

I drove up onto a tall curb and turned to full lock before I pulled off the mud flaps. Here is what it looked like with the mud flaps in place and turned full lock to the left:

And this is the front of the wheel wheel liner which is the only place I still rub after removing the mud flaps. Keep in mind this is as fully locked as you can turn, and the rubbing is extremely light. I'll still trim/reform the liner to remove the rubbing, but it's livable as it is. I'm quite happy with the way it turned out considering these are pretty close to a true 34" tire. I previously had 285/75/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my fully built 2014 LC, so to fit a tire that's the same size if not a touch larger on a completely stock LX is pretty cool.

I'm surprised you're not rubbing on the UCA there Matt, because mine with the same tires (size/model) definitely did. I just needed to offset with a small spacer.

Anyways, here are a few pics from a trip to Big Bend NP last week before Thanksgiving.

It looks like on close inspection there is a tiny rub mark on the UCA probably from cranking the wheel at full lock to test clearance. I doubt it will be an issue, but out of curiosity which spacers did you use? I generally dislike adding spacers, but if it was very mild I'd think about it. My wife said the truck looks even better now with these tires on the OEM wheels, so for better or for worse the wheels are here to stay :D

Quick trip to Yosemite..I need to hurry up and get some off road tires and take this thing off pavement already...

To my knowledge, the simple answer is yes. Slee advised me I would have to do a considerable amount of cutting/trimming. At first I considered it, but what are 35s going to do that 33s cant? In my world, not much. Now if the trimming etc gave me ability to fit 38s, it would be a bit different but for the kind of wheeling I do, I get by really well with 33s. They also told me the 35s rub like crazy.

Are you running BFG A/T KO2s?

33" would be 285/70/17 or 285/75/17?

Thanks!

Well, I've been super busy and haven't had a chance to compile our photos and videos from Moab yet but I felt bad leaving everyone hanging so here's a couple quick teaser shots. I'll find the time one of these days to get all the footage and photos together and post up a proper compilation.

Nice. That tub looks quite different without a foot of water at the bottom.

Was thinking same.

Not sure it qualified as "water" though.

More like runny refried beans... :hillbilly:

That's the first time I have ever seen it dry. The first time I went through it way back in the day in my old XJ I ended up with a cab full of mud because the door seals were crap and there was 4+ ft of water in there. That truck never smelled right after that.

When we were there in July, some teenager was actually getting into the water in his shorts--and although it was the other "tub" just above that one, it was still pretty nasty water. I was imagining his fellow passengers strapping him to the roof after that...
