I got a text from Ouray County last night that they were closing Imogene for 2 hours last night at 1900, for a vehicle recovery. Don't get out over the tips of your skis y'all.
Being over confident is the #1 cause for issues. Drive smart, ask for help, maintain your truck, and trust your group leader.
Still trying to figure out where this is... right by the waterfall maybe?

SUPER bummed to make this post, but it's long overdue. I had to recently give up my spot for LCDC10 due to some previously unforeseen issues that came up. 
The GOOD news is that one of you was able to get off the waitlist.
I wanted to see if it's possible to salvage some sort of joy however and ask if anyone might be able to meet up in Moab (while in the area) the following Monday after LCDC concludes. This would be 8/5. I am hoping to put a shorter trip to Moab together with some of you fine folks and try to get my wife and kids on board while I'm at it. Just a few days. LET ME KNOW!

made it to Frisco today so should be in Ouray by mid day. Thinking about taking the Smith Mountain trail off of HWY 92 and then Elephant Skin Road to Montrose. Any locals have any intel on these trails?
