Parts rig not mine but definitely need a rear axle housing if someone gets their hands on it.

Anyone going after this? if not I might go snag it...

"I knOw WuT I'Ve GOt"

Yeah, he told me 5k. I didn't even respond.

He wants at least $4500 for it. More than I want to sink in a parts truck.
Here's the thing. There's not much of a market for a normal run of the mill 80 series engine with 200+K miles. Transmission has no resale value unless you find someone who needs a tranny right now ( have one here wirth 166K that you can have free). Same with the transfer case. Body looks pretty well totaled and the front bumper is bent up at least a bit. No idea what shape the interior is in. Used suspension pieces unless they look pretty new don't seem to sell well. The value here of course is the axles, but they wouldn't sell for enough to recuperate the $4500 price tag. Yes of course there are lots of others pieces that someone like me with no overhead can sell piecemeal and make some money on but there isn't enough profit in that truck at $4500 to make it worthwhile for me. Stripping an entire truck and selling off parts has to allow me to double my investment otherwise it's not worth all the work and hassle.
It's a shame a rust-free truck ends up like this!
I'd love to hear other opinions.

That was my thoughts. I have my 96 triple locked that needed the front end repaired and looked a lot better than that for less than have that cost. That one has lower miles on it. I would have gone to $2500, but I have no need for it. I have a 97 unlocked that I will part out at some point but do not have the time.

Gary, you have seen my Conex boxes, I have too much stuff but still by more. I have two sheds at home full of stuff as well. Some things you just can not find anymore, others you may need one day. As long as I own 40's and 80's and work on them, I plan to keep multiple replacement parts for each, especially electrical items, like switches, etc.

I would take you up on the tranny, but I have no idea when I would make it up and I am sure your daughter will not put that in her car!!

Continuing to downside another hobby; some first rate precision rifle equipment:

#1.
Accuracy International AT rifle with an AX buttstock conversion. This is the newer version of the AT with a small firing pin and quick lock barrel change system. The AX conversion has been installed/bonded to the chassis using factory kit. The rifle also has an anarchy outdoors picatinny bipod spigot but includes all factory parts and paperwork (factory AI spigot, sling swivel bipod adapter) and one magazine. It is in excellent, close to showroom demo condition with no bolt face pitting. 510 rounds on the included AI 24" .308 barrel. 689 rounds on the action itself.

The pictured additional barrels are sold.
$4400, I will pay FFL transfer

If someone does buy it for 4k I'm going to list my rusty 80 triple lock for 10k 🤣 and put my attention towards my rust free one.

Air Compressor Overstock

I have more 12V compressors than I can use, so I'm thinning the herd.

Morflate FiveSix Pro - $150 - I won this at the Fall Crawl but have never used it. These sells for $285 on the Morflate site; currently on sale on Amazon for $199. This version comes with a single 6' hose but can also use Morflates 2x and 4x hose kits to inflate 2 or 4 tires simultaneously.

Amazon product ASIN B0CKY1X4P7
Viair 88P - $60 - This compressor sells for $82 on Amazon. I've used it one time, it works great and is rated for up to 33" tires.

I'll take these if they're not claimed yet. Hopefully someone can bring them to a monthly meeting and I can get them there. I'm hoping to make it to the February one
