Lame. Must be turning into a very popular tire. When my km2s wear down I'm gonna try and run those

Unfortunately it seems to be so. I have been wanting to run these tires since I saw Cody's LX before I even had a cruiser! I just missed a set locally for 650 and I want to kick myself in the balls.

you guys are sick!!!;) Threads like these are what fuels my addiction and why I love this forum! Not to sidetrack you all but, I shopped around today for some 315/75/16's (movin up from 265/75/16's and keeping stock gears) and they are supprisingly hard to find (at least under $250 each). Anyone have suggestions on other sizes I could keep an eye out for that may work w my 16" rims stock gears and moderate lift? Or maybe where I should be looking?

thanks,
-Evan

so what backspace did you end up going with?

Does this count? Picked up my 37x12.50x17 km2s today. waiting for my rock monster wheels to get here. more pics when they are mounted up!

4.5 back spacing is the only choice in the wheels I decided to buy. They are 17x8.5 double bead lock rock monsters made by Hutchinson.

I remember the 17's being less than the 16's in the same sizes.
Checkout the duratracs. Those are awesome tires.

That tire size looks badass man :grinpimp:

Are those the radials?

850J front
863 rear
30mm spring spacers all around
17x8.5 rock monster bead locks with 4.5 back spacing. No rubbing except in top of wheel wells. Need 3.25 extensions on rear bump stops and around 2 on the front.
When I build the bump stops I am going to also lower my top shock mounts so I don't lose ant shock travel.

Those look great! How many miles do you think you'll get out of them?

I got to test out the 37s a little more today. I have a question/concern: I am getting a good bit of bump steer. Is there a remedy for that?

I think they stuff good, and the only place they rub is in the front on the sliders. Only when compressed and turning. I'll take them off and trim them back a little.
