We are just thru Montrose, heading for the Beaumont...don't drink all the beer, we are coming!!

Did we really pick Jeep Jambore weekend for this??? We are going to be in jeep hades...oh and the trails are going to be crowed. Not to be a Debbie downer... We will be sharing with 300 jeeps that are registered plus others. I was wondering why I was seeing s many already. Ha. Oh well.

Jeep Jamboree limits out under 150 Jeeps. They usually divide into groups of 10-15 for permitting purposes and spread the groups among a variety of trails.

This is not the normal weekend for Ouray Jeep Jamboree, they had to switch weekends due to planned road construction on 550 beginning in about a week.

Yes it was 300 attendees not 300 jeeps. My mistake. Also, I learned that Black Bear is not sanctioned - but that groups collaborate to do it anyway. Glad we are leaving early.

They don't do Black Bear during the Jamboree because of insurance requirements. The Jamboree crew does Black Bear a few days before the Jamboree kicks off and participation is limited to the Jamboree Trail Guides. People arriving early or staying after the event group up to do Black Bear, but Jamboree Guides don't participate in these trail rides due to Jeep Jamboree policies, to not have any liability.

@codyaustin5 silver 200 is there as well as a white 100, look a bit lost between all the black 200's but it sure does make them stand out have fun all
