I wish I had time to order a tray from Slee. I'm visiting the inlaws for the holiday and my battery went out. So,
Not much time for exciting mods. Just need a good single battery. Not running a dual set up....no need for my uses.
Thanks for the replies.
+1 on the Optima Red Top. Good all around battery plus when and if you decide to switch to a group 31 battery, it'll serve you well in another vehicle as its size is very universal.

My sister in law owns an auto parts biz in Illinois (Dust and sons) so I picked up what they carried / Interstate 27 MTP. Gotta support a family biz when you can) Cranked right up and got me home.
thanks for the replies. I think i may look into a dual set up over the winter for a project....not that it would've helped me much as the dead battery had a dead cell / Toyota OEM battery - two years old :(

I am getting that "clicking" sound on speed bumps and rough roads...is this a result of my shock guards? I have the OME lift with UCA's. Ride and alignment seem fine.

Anyone notice, now that the 200's are really dropping in price for older versions, the influx of new mud members? Also the migration of older LC owners to the newer platform really seems to be picking up, backed up by hard numbers of course.

The dilution of the "elite" 200 section was made my yours truly about 2 years ago o_O.

Guess it only took 8 years for the Luddites (like me) to get it through our heads.

My post was definitely intended to be Tongue-in-cheek. I came to the 200 from the 80, and a 2nd gen 4-Runner before that, crazy to think I've only personally had 3 vehicles over the last 20+ years!

I took it in that spirit :)

If you are a data junkie here are some numbers to ponder. 200 Series new car sales......numbers are growing. 2016 is the best year for the Series since 2008 (source Toyota Land Cruiser Sales Figures - GOOD CAR BAD CAR)

I can not help but to wonder when the 300 will come out. Do not really want one, just want to talk my wife into trading her 2015 4Runner for a 2015 LC.

Based on my reading, looks like it will be as 2018 so we may be just a year before debute. Autospies and other making many comments on it if you google but do not provide too much spec details yet.

Those numbers are interesting...especially considering there was no 2012 LC. I am curious as to which model years accounted for the calendar year sales for "new" vehicles for 2011-2013.

I had the same thought when I put together the table (hence, the notation about model years). Must be a mix of remaining 2011s and early 2013s, eh?

MY '13s hit the lots in Feb '12 IIRC.

Curious to hear about your thoughts on the stock tires that came on your 200.... i just turned 15,000 miles and i swear the stock tires are easily 50% gone! The guy at the tire store said it's because they normally put softer tires on as OEM to help it have a smoother ride, but still that seems excessive. Anyone still have the original tires in place and how are they holding up?

Installed the RW wheels today, they are a little snug around the center of the hub. My son likes the Tundra TRD wheels better.

I still have not made my mind up.

What are the community thoughts?

I like the RW's

I'm partial though

The RW is an all around better wheel from a performance perspective. It is forged and I believe it is the lightest 17" wheel made for our trucks.

RW for sure for functional reasons alone, and I like the looks better but thats just a personal preference.
