OEM FIPG question

This is because these types of sealants need humidity and 75 plus degrees to cure in its time curve. It’s not quick but it lasts for ever.
I was wondering just that. Where you get the info?

The rectangle looking seal is not a part, but FIPG. You need Toyota 1282B silicon seal packing for coolant systems: Part No. 08826-00100 or equivalent.

Thank you. I totally had a misunderstanding of FIPG stood for.....
Now I get it. Fixed In Place Gasket. Will order the O-ring and Toyota 1282B seal.

And never apply the sealant to an o ring. Some people think this adds extra sealing but in the end it will create misery down the road and a likely broken part.
