I don't know what they are going for, but do you have any pictures. I might be interested

X2 I would like to see pictures. Would be interested in seeing if east coast and west coast idea of a minor rust pit is the same. I have a small stash of these but always room for one more. I'm hoping at some point Mike with runs out of repros and SOR is the only who has them. That will help the prices. Until then I should have invested in a 401K instead.:bang:

and 3 more... the inside is sprayed with "spray grease" ... to prevent rusting... not too bad considering it was about this condition when i got it ... and it was on my DD for well over 12 years with NYS salt

I think those dents hurt more than the rust. If it was just light rust it could probably be sanded and filled before replating. I worked on straighten out dents in a few and they look good from a distance but would have to be professionally restore before I would have them rechromed. I bought four that were rust free but dented for around $80 shipped to my door. This was before Mike's were available and I was first in line to get them. I'm sure back then the seller could have gotten more. Now it's hard to say. Didn't Mike (Foxfab) pay around $50 to $60 a piece to get a set restored in Texas. Won't tell what I paid for this set but they were offered to me for free. I like to sleep at night and paid him a price fair to others I have purchased which wasn't some of the crazy ebay prices. But it also was as low as the set I got for $80 those were pretty trashed. This was from the guy who had the 70 and he was going to give them and other items to help sell his FJ40. In the end I bought the 70 for the asking price. I have around thirty old hub caps. Other then the four trashed ones and two I bought from Mike with the holes from the lockout hubs all the others have been private deals off the internet.

Don't know if that helps you at all Johnny?

Minor hijack here......there's a guy here in AZ selling some "a corns" and wheels. I could help with these if anybody is interested. I don't know the seller myself, but he is located about 20 minutes from me. Here is his ad:

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/pts/3306604327.html

Called the guy and they sold Sunday. He was probably thirty minutes from me. Really wasn't looking to spent that much ($175 for five, just as reference once the ad is gone) for another set of hubcaps that needed to be rechromed. It was funny he said he already sold the wheels. Had to ask him if he sold the hubcaps too. Guess he didn't realize the value was in the hub caps not the non disc brake wheels.
